1. Is the kitchen price included in the cost of the property?
Answer: Yes. The kitchen price is included in the cost of the property.
It is the 'Gesha' basic level of kitchen, (please see the kitchens page.) The basic model of kitchen will allow your property to participate in the Gehaview holiday lettings programme.
2. I want to rent out my property what kitchen style do I have to have to qualify for the Geshaview holiday lettings scheme?
Answer: The 'Gesha' basic level kitchen is the style you will need to have to qualify for the holiday rental scheme.
3. Why have the kitchens been designed without washing machines as standard fittings?
Answer: The village has an on-site private laundry service so the need for all properties to have a washing machine was deemed unnecessary.
4 If I chose a 'Gesha' level kitchen am I able to upgrade it at a later stage?
Answer: Yes. This is an option as all properties will be fitted with services for an upgrade.
5. Can I choose a separate style of tiles and finishings for my kitchen?
Answer: Yes. This is an option if you wish. Geshaview has a 'Bespoke' design service that many clients choose to adopt. Creating a special design/colour/style is encouraged, however, care has to be taken when choosing bespoke styling when it comes to lettings.
6. When do I have to pay for my kitchen if I decide to upgrade to a 'Gesha Deluxe' or a 'Bespoke' designed kitchen?
Answer: Once you have paid the 30% deposit on your property we will contact you and start the process of kitchen installation. Payment for any additions will be paid separately and at the time of installation which could be up to 3 - 6 months after the second payment for the property is complete. A small deposit will be requested at the time of placing your order.
7. What standard of appliances are fitted?
Answer: A mid range standard of fixtures and fittings are used. Branded white goods that have the specification for functional and practical usage. All appliances carry the normal manufactures guarantee.
8. Do I get to see a computer image of my kitchen before it is installed and if needed can I make additions at the last minute?
Answer: Yes. The purpose of our kitchen service is to be very flexible and understanding to all owners, allowing the most personal and practical kitchen. Just contact us and we will make the alterations and communicate with you directly.
9. I have not visited my property and do not intend to for the next months/years. Will I be able to get the kitchen installed and can I have a record or confirmation of it once complete?
Answer: Yes. Once your kitchen is fitted it will be photographed and sent to you with a installation sign off. All kitchens will be under a 3 months installation programme where all appliances, fittings, and services will be checked and maintained.
10. Breakages happen during the passage of time. How are items replaced and/or repaired if they get broken or at worst, stolen?
Answer: At every departure of a letting your property will be inspected and any breakages, shortages, damages will be reported. and dealt with accordingly.
11. How do I pay for the electricity, gas and water consumption for not only the kitchen but for the whole property. What are the charges for the waste and general services like rubbish collection?
Answer: Electricity, water and waste will be charged separately to you every quarter. Collection of rubbish will be carried out by Geshaview management services and will be charged as part of the annual maintenance charge. Please note that there is no gas supply to the village.
12. What do I have to do to ensure my kitchen appliances and accessories are insured. Is there an insurance that covers the property contents and what will the annual premium be?
Answer: Insurance through Allianz has been structured for all Geshaview properties and contents. Preferential terms have been offered and you are welcome to benefit from this.
